I have a project that requires me to run Selenium. For this I need webdriver to interact with browsers. I have a Raspberry Pi 3 running the latest Raspbian.Ĭurrently I was only able to get Chromium 56 and Firefox ESR 45. However the webdriver do not work with those version. Go to and click on the Free Java Download button. Geckodriver needs at least something above Firefox 50 and chromedriver also seems to have its problems with Chromium 56, I assume I would need an actual Chrome and not Chromium. On the Firefox download page click on the Agree and Start freeload button. The File Download dialog box appears, click on the Save File button. Click in the search bar, then type javascript.enabled. Double click on the downloaded file in the Download Manager window or where you normally save download files. All of the settings you can change are displayed alphabetically. Each setting has a row under the headers Preference Name, Status, Type, and Value. Typing a specific term in the search bar clears away all other entries that dont match your target. Fortunately, Firefox 52 has an extended ESR support version that will be compatible with these plugins, at least until the next. This is the situation, now I have several questions. But in the future, Firefox will work just like Chrome and there will be a process for each tab and a process for each plugin. What is the reason that I can not install the latest Firefox? During the installation youll be asked for the directory in which to install Firefox ESR. Id rather have every 5-10 tabs share a process each. Open the Firefox browser or restart it, if it is already running From the Firefox menu, select Tools then click the Add-ons option In the Add-ons Manager window, select Plugins Click Java (TM) Platform plugin (Windows) or Java Applet Plug-in (Mac OS X) to select it. having 80 Firefox processes will be a memory whore. If playback doesn't begin shortly, try restarting your device. Choose a directory on a portable memory device.
